The puppies have arrived !  We were blessed with 9 beautiful babies Wed. night the 17th.
We have 4 black tri females, 3 blue merle females and 2 black tri males.
We've names these Texas babies after some of our favorite country, western artists.
5.5 Week old pictures.  You can only imagine how hard it is to stack puppies this age.  This is the best we could do.

Puppy Information and Philosophy

Any dog is a huge emotional investment , not to mention time and money and should be carefully considered.   The dog you choose could be in your life for the next 15 years.   This is not an area to "bargain shop".

Our puppies come with normal health guarantees.  Show prospects come with a guarantee against any disqualifying faults and will be replaced.

Tails and due claws are removed at about 2 to 3 days old.  They will be wormed at least twice and will receive their first shot before leaving us at at least 8 weeks.  There are always things that can happen, but we carefully chose our pedigrees to avoid health issues and problems.  Any dog that is used for breeding will have proper health clearances.

The litters we have are being bred for us....The pedigrees and sires chosen are to produce show prospects for us to move forward with.  As it is best to evaluate puppies at 8 weeks of age, we will likely not decide who we're keeping until the 8 week evaluation.  Which means that we may not be able to say exactly what puppies can go where until then.  Usually there are puppies we can identify as something we or don't need  for our breeding/show program and we can and will commit on those.

We are a small hobby breeder and we enjoy showing our dogs in conformation.  Our dogs are also our pets and live in our homes.  Puppies are whelped and are in a pen inside the house when not outside  in the puppy yard, (after they're  4 weeks old).   We train our puppies to potty on a tray of shavings when in the house and generally they are all  "shavings trained"  by the time they leave.  They will be accustomed to regular household noises and people coming and going.  They are raised in the hub of our homes and get loved on by everyone so they are well socialized.

Aussies temperaments can range from high drive to slightly lazy.  Our dogs love to play and are very active (frizbee being our favorite), but they have a calm spirit and can "turn it off as well as on".  It is very important to us to produce dogs that are enjoyable to live with, easy to train, intelligent, with good social skills as well as being structurally sound and good  breed specimens .

We do have a contract and all pet/companion puppies are sold with limited registration to be spayed or neutered.  As not every dog is a show dog, but every dog can be a pet, it is only fair that a person looking for a show dog have first opportunity with the puppies that would be good show prospects.   As much as possible we will try to let people choose on a first come first serve basis.  But if there is a perfect fit for a particular family, we will make that choice, or recommendation.

We will take a $100 deposit on a pet/companion puppy and a $200 deposit on a show prospect puppy.  If there is not a puppy for you, ( sex/color etc.) we will refund it or move it to the next litter, your choice.  We will not refund a deposit because the puppy isn't marked like you want it or it doesn't have blue eyes, or you simply changed your mind,  etc.  There can be no guarantees on the superficial things on puppies in any litter and such things should be last on the list.   Priority should be placed on how well the puppies personality/temperament fits with your family and lifestyle.

If you have any questions that we didn't address or you'd like to discuss further, please feel free to contact us, we'd love to talk with you.
